Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco very early in the morning,
and transfer by private bus to the town of Chilca, at about 88 kms from the
city of Cusco, where you'll meet our staff of porters, cooks, assistant, etc.,
who will accompany you during the trekking along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
Along the route we will enjoy stunning views of the Veronica snowcap. This
first day you will walk until reaching Llulluchayoc or "Three White Stones".
Have lunch and continue walking until the site denominated Corral Punku
where you will camp the first night having a hot and plentiful dinner.
Day 2
Corral Punku - Warmiwañusca - Pacamayo
After breakfast the toughest part of the trail begins. It's a steep climb
to the meadow, followed by a 3 hours walk until reaching the first pass, named
Warmiwañiusca (Dead Woman), at approximately 4,200 m.a.s.l.. Here you will not
only get an unbelievable panoramic view of the whole area but also the feeling
or relief on reaching the top. After a short break continue down to Pacamayo
where you will enjoy lunch. Camp. Dinner.
After breakfast start descending until reaching Runku Rakay, the second pass, at 3,800 m.
and then Phuyo Patamarka (Cloud-level town), another very important archaeological
monument where lunch will be served. After a short break continue walking to reach
Wiñay Huayna (Forever Young) an impressive archaeological complex spectacularly
sited. Camp. Dinner.
Day 4
Cusco
After breakfast, very early to see the sunrise on Machu Picchu, take a one hour walk
through the forest that would lead up to Inti Punku (The Sun Door), that is known as
the entrance door to Machu Picchu, where you will get the most famous and impressive
panoramic view of the citadel. Upon arrival in Machu Picchu, guided tour around the
citadel, visiting the main sites and monuments. Transfer by bus to Aguas Calientes.
In the afternoon, transfer by train to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco transfer to your
selected hotel. End of services.

NOTE: In order to do the Inka trail you need to have a permission
given by THE INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE CULTURA (INC), but if you reserve the Inka trail with us,
we do all of this permission with the INC for you.
This permission was established by the government in order to have a control of the
amount of people per day, so there is a limit of people per day in order to preserve the
archaeological ruins, as well as the beautiful landscapes in this most popular trekking in
Peru, and one of the best in the world.
